We provide a wide range of Elder Law services designed to meet the specific financial and health-related needs of older clients and their families.
We help families of children and adults with disabilities with planning to protect the rights, public benefits and financial resources for those persons with special needs.
To meet the challenges faced by our older clients, we develop personalized legal plans to:
- maximize the client’s resources for personal and family support and quality of life
- obtain available resources for long-term health care and support
- provide for smooth transition of assets and decision-making within the family as circumstances change
We also help Baby Boom adults and older clients with customized Estate Planning to provide legal and financial security for those clients and their families.
“Estate Planning” once meant a “simple” will. No more. Today a comprehensive plan for future personal and family security will include a will, health-care directive (for medical and health-care decision-making), a durable general power of attorney (for financial affairs decision-making), and possibly a revocable “living trust” or other type of trust. Also, a special needs trust is essential if planning involves a spouse or child with a disability.
